Careers

We hire for judgement, then give it room.

Two analyst intakes a year, a teaching floor rather than a pyramid, and partners who still read the models their teams build.

Responsibility

Your own work, early

Analysts build the models that go into live meetings in their first year. Nobody fetches the coffee, and nobody presents work they did not do.

Teaching

A floor that teaches

Every desk has a partner who reviews work line by line. That is an hour a day of senior attention, and it is the reason people stay past year three.

Time

Hours that hold up

Live deals run long, and we say so at the interview. But weekends belong to you when nothing is closing, and we staff to make that true.

Programmes

Four ways in.

01

Analyst programme

Two years, three rotations, one desk you keep. New York, London, and Hong Kong intakes.

→

02

Associate programme

For returning graduates and lateral hires with three to five years behind them.

→

03

Summer internship

Ten weeks on one desk with a named mentor and a real live project at the end of it.

→

04

Experienced hires

Senior bankers and research analysts across all five practices, hired desk by desk.

→

Hiring process

Four steps, ten working days.

We tell everyone where they stand within two weeks of the first interview, including the people we do not hire.

  • Application and résumé review, read by the desk
  • Two interviews with the people you would work beside
  • A short modelling exercise, with the work returned to you
  • An offer, and a named mentor before your first day

Life here

A firm you can still recognise in ten years.

We promote from inside before we hire from outside, and we publish the criteria for every step. People stay because the route up is visible, not because the door is hard to find.
